We would like to inform you that a façade renovation is currently underway at Finlandia Hotel Alba. The purpose of this work is to preserve and enhance the beautiful exterior of our building and to ensure its safety and comfort for years to come.
We are truly happy and grateful that our building is being so well taken care of! This renovation is a valuable investment in both the condition of our property and the long-term comfort of our guests. Hotel was built 1989 and now is a very good time to secure hotel services to future.
Our hotel will remain fully operational throughout the renovation, and our staff will do their best to ensure your stay is pleasant and peaceful despite any construction-related arrangements. Due to the placement of scaffolding on the lake side, swimming from our pier is temporarily prohibited. We recommend using the Mattilanniemi beach for swimming until the the scaffolding by the lake will be removed.
Construction working hours are 8 AM to 3.30 PM, we hope this does not cause too much trouble.
UPDATE – June 4, 2025
The completion of the lakeside section of the building has been delayed. Currently, we hope to have that part finished by Midsummer.
The overall project completion date remains unchanged: July 6, 2025.
